By plane

Birmingham is served by Birmingham International Airport which handles over 9 million passengers every year and with direct links to more than 100 destinations.

The airport is just 8 miles/13km from Birmingham city centre and offers an Airlink Shuttle which ensures a smooth transit to Birmingham International train station. From Birmingham International train station there are up to 9 trains an hour to Birmingham New Street Station, which is in the centre of Birmingham - meaning you can be in the city centre in just 10 minutes.

Alternatively, a taxi jouney from Birmingham International Airport to Birmingham city centre takes approximately 30 minutes.

By train

Birmingham New Street Station lies in the heart of the city centreand is the hub of the UK rail network.  High-speed trains to London Euston operate three times an hour and the journey takes just 82 minutes.

Getting to the Aston Conference Centre from New Street Station / the city centre

From New Street Station it is only a 20 minute walk to the Conference Aston venues. Exit the station via the escalators located next to the Burger King Fast Food Restuarant, take a left at the top and proceed into the shopping mall. Follow the shopping square to the left, then the right and proceed towards the exit down a ramp. This will bring you out to Corporation Street.

Alternatively, a taxi from New Street takes approximately 5 minutes and a taxi rank is available at the station.
