Advancing smarter growth in smarter cities

 Objectives:

The overarching aims of the programme are to provide an opportunity for KSF members and other delegates to:

1) Gain an insight from senior EU representatives on the role of cities in delivering EU2020 smart growth and the EU Digital Agenda, and how these EU level strategies impact cities.

2) Have a dialogue with senior EU representatives on how cities are currently delivering smart growth and the kinds of EU level flexibilities and finance mechanisms which are needed to help them go further.

3) Showcase examples from across Europe how cities already deliver smart growth and recovery.

4) Exchange good practice and ideas on new city initiatives
